A FAMOUS movie car will be one of the main attractions at the Southwold Christmas lights switch-on on Friday.
A FAMOUS movie car will be one of the main attractions at the Southwold Christmas lights switch-on on Friday.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will lead a parade of musicians, singers and Father Christmas from the pier at 6.30pm to arrive in the market place at about 6.55pm.
The illuminations will be switched on by Father Christmas from the town hall balcony at 7pm.
The evening's entertainment starts at 5pm with stalls in the market place and musical entertainment from local children's choirs. There will also be Christmas carols after the switch-on, led by the Wrentham Town Band.
The Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car will be on display during the evening at the Swan Hotel and Father Christmas will be in his grotto in the courtyard of the Blue Lighthouse Brasserie.
n The High Street and Church Street will be closed to traffic from 4pm.
