A GREIVING father of a teenager killed in an accident two years ago has opened his heart to the families of Scott Towler and Dean Bloomfield.

Antonios Sinadinos, father of 14-year-old Copleston High School pupil Alex, wrote an open letter to the parents of the youngsters with his daughter, Amy. Alex's life was cut short in an accident on Foxhall Road, Ipswich.

Mr Sinadinos, of Waterworks Street, Ipswich, told how he and Amy share every moment of the parents' grief and spoke openly and poignantly about his own loss.

The ages of the two boys virtually mirror that of Alex when he passed away and Mr Sinadinos told how his thoughts went out to the parents.

"I wrote the letter because I am always thinking of my son," said Mr Sinadinos. "He is always on my mind. Wherever I go he is with me.

"I had lots of dreams and plans for him.

"Then one evening the phone rang and I was told Alex was involved in car accident and from that moment my whole life changed.

"Without Alex it has been emptiness in my heart and in my life. I understand how the parents of these two lovely boys feel at this moment.

"For me my mind stopped and since the accident I always think he has been away and will come back.

"Alex is always involved in my life and every occasion, whether it is Christmas or Easter, even though he is not here. Every celebration we involve him and are thinking of him and have his place in our hearts.

"We still celebrate his birthday the same as if he was here. Everything is left in his room the same as if he is here and one day coming back.

"All the pupils in the school still see me. His closest friends still come and see me such as Yannis Arvanitides and Holly as if Alex was there with me."

Stoke High pupils Scott and Dean, both aged 15, were fatally injured in Fore Hamlet, Ipswich. Scott died on Friday and Dean died Saturday morning.

The letter read:

"To the parents of the little angels in heaven – Dean and Scott.

"My daughter Amy and I express our deepest sympathy to the parents of Scott Towler and Dean Bloomfield and share every moment of your pain and grief.

"We have both been through the loss of my son, Alex, 14, brother to Amy, in a car accident on Foxhall Road two years ago. We are thinking of you every minute of the day and pray for you.

"Words cannot express your tragic loss but our hearts are with you.

"The pain of our loss is still with us but Alex is always in our thoughts and so are Scott and Dean.

"May they rest in peace – Angels in Heaven."

Antonios Sinadinos (Father) and Amy Sinadinos (Sister).
