A FATHER from Ipswich today told of the moment he was reunited with his long-lost son in cyberspace.

Tony Goulbourne, of Gippeswyk Road, had not heard from his first-born since he was adopted more than 20 years ago.

But his son, Leon Bailey, who had moved to America, tracked him down on social networking site MySpace and gave him an even bigger surprise by telling him he was a grandfather.

Mr Bailey also found his mother, Debra Kneuman, who also re-located from Ipswich to America, on MySpace and now the family is planning a reunion in September.

Mr Goulbourne, 44, said: “I had a son out there. I hadn't forgotten him.”
