A burglar who committed three break-ins in the Felixstowe area in March will be sentenced later this month.

Before Ipswich Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing via a prison video link was Anthony Johnson, 48, of Windermere Road, Felixstowe, who admitted a burglary at a shop in High Road East in the town between March 10-14 during which he stole a collection box.

He also admitted burglary at another shop in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, between March 19-22 during which a laptop computer was stolen.

Johnson also admitted burglary at a house in High Road, Trimley St Martin, on March 31 during which items including a computer tablet, a camera, jewellery and cufflinks were stolen.

The case was adjourned for sentence until May 16.
