A burglar who committed three break-ins in the Felixstowe area in March will be sentenced later this month.
Before Ipswich Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing via a prison video link was Anthony Johnson, 48, of Windermere Road, Felixstowe, who admitted a burglary at a shop in High Road East in the town between March 10-14 during which he stole a collection box.
He also admitted burglary at another shop in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, between March 19-22 during which a laptop computer was stolen.
Johnson also admitted burglary at a house in High Road, Trimley St Martin, on March 31 during which items including a computer tablet, a camera, jewellery and cufflinks were stolen.
The case was adjourned for sentence until May 16.
Levent Ayer Kemal for Johnson asked the court to adjourn the case for him to obtain more information about his client’s mental health problems and about offences he wanted taken into consideration.
