TWENTY Firefighters have tackled a house blaze in Felixstowe.

The fire, at a three-storey house in Undercliff Road West, was reported at about 3.45pm yesterday.

The fire, at a three-storey house in Undercliff Road West, was reported at about 3.45pm yesterday.

Suffolk Fire Service said the blaze started in the property's kitchen and left all floors heavily smoke-logged.

Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire while the turntable ladder was also in use. It was under control by about 4.30pm.
