A man was assaulted by a group of youngsters in Felixstowe on Saturday night, police have said.

The man, in his 30s, was kicked in the head after being tripped up when passing a group of around five males and a female in Sea Road at around 11pm.

He lost a tooth following the assault, and suffered a bruised ear and a swollen lip.

The males are described as white, aged between 16 and 20 and were wearing dark clothing. They walked off in the direction of Undercliff Road West.
