DRIVERS are still facing chaos around Felixstowe today as one lane of the A14 was shut.

Hauliers are bracing themselves for more port closures after high winds forced cranes to stop operating.

One lane of the A14 dock spur road was coned off yesterday with lorry drivers told to queue in the outside carriageway. A 30mph speed limit was imposed for all vehicles.

But hauliers said they had also been told the port was suffering other problems and that 30per cent of its rubber-tyred gantry cranes were out of action.
