A teenager was stabbed in the street in Felixstowe last night - the latest in a series of violent assaults in the county.
A police spokesman said they were called by the East of England ambulance service to the scene shortly before 5pm on Monday afternoon after reports of a man having been injured.
The incident happened in Runnacles Way, close to the Grange Farm Avenue junction, in the west of the town.
The man, who police say is in his late teens, was taken to hospital for treatment to a stab wound under his shoulder. This morning, a police spokesman confirmed the man’s injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers cordoned off a large area surrounding the scene of the incident.
The stabbing is the latest in a series of incidents to take place across the county in the past year.
In ten weeks there were six different knife attacks across Suffolk.
