Three men have been charged with aggravated burglary following an incident at a home in Felixstowe.

Police we called to the property in Blyford Way at around 3.50pm on Saturday, June 22 after reports of a burglary. Officers attended and found a woman with facial injuries.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary later that afternoon and were taken into custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they were interviewed by officers.

All three were bailed for further enquiries and returned to police yesterday, when they were charged.

David Navarro, 22, of Handsworth Road, London; Sadiq Temitayo Ayuba, 24, of Napier Road, London, and Abel Teclab, 22, of Keston Road, London, have now been charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly stealing a laptop computer, mobile phone and £450 in cash from the home while in possession of a knife.

David Navarro has also been charged with driving a vehicle without due care and attention and failing to stop a vehicle for a police officer when required, relating to a white Vauxhall Corsa being driven along The Street, Belstead on the same day.

All three are now due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court on the afternoon of Wednesday 16 October.
