A Suffolk bank’s year of fundraising has helped its charity partner fund two clubs for young people with learning disability.

The partnership between Felixstowe’s TSB and Mencap raised £1,570 for the charity, which has funded its Gateway and Mencap Magic clubs, as well as a Saturday morning drop-in to give parents and carers respite.

Owen Hooker, chairman at Felixstowe Mencap said: “It’s been great to work in partnership with TSB. The branch’s support has had a really positive impact on our charity and the work we do here in Felixstowe.”

Ying To, manager of TSB Felixstowe added: “Our local charity partnership programme is all about working in partnership to support the local causes that are the lifeblood of many communities. It’s been fantastic to support Felixstowe Mencap which is close to our hearts and everyone working here has found our partnership really rewarding.”
