A team of people from Felixstowe joined a scheme to pack Christmas meals and hampers for those in need.
Five volunteers from the Sanctuary Supported Living project at the resort travelled to Norfolk to help with a day of packing as their way of saying thank you for the generous Christmas food they have received from the emergency store over the years.
The hampers are sent out as part of the Buckingham Emergency Food Appeal (Befa) to hostels and community centres in East Anglia and further afield. Generous farmers and companies in the food industry donate large quantities of top class produce.
The volunteer teams work for four days allocating all the food into consignments ready for collection by charitable organisations, hostels and community projects who make the food parcels and prepare more than 10,000 meals.
