Felixstowe: Woman granted bail after alleged handbag snatch

A 35-year-old woman who appeared at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court this morning, charged with attempted robbery, has been granted bail until she appears at Ipswich Crown Court on August 30.

Natasha Bailey, of Brightwell Close, allegedly tried to snatch a handbag from an 89-year-old woman in Morrisons car park in Grange Farm Avenue, Felixstowe, on Thursday.

She pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted robbery.

She must reside and sleep at her residence in Brightwell Close, report to Felixstowe police station everyday between 9am and noon, and must not enter the premises or car park of Morrisons until she appears at Crown Court.
