FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a fire in a field after flames were spotted from a slip road near Copdock.
FIREFIGHTERS were called to extinguish a fire in a field after flames were spotted from a slip road near Copdock.
A crew from Princes Street station were alerted shortly after 1pm to the fire which had spread across 20 metres of grass.
Beaters and a water jet were used to fight the flames, which were under control by 1.30pm.
