A FIFTH Ipswich prostitute has been reported missing.
Suffolk police have said 29-year-old Annette Nicholls was reported missing by her family today and has not been seen for a week.
Police are currently investigating the murders of three prostitutes and another who is also missing, Paula Clennell.
However there is a glimmer of hope for Ms Clennell as a friend is said to have spoken to the 24-year-old at 10.30pm yesterday when she was said to be looking for somewhere to stay.
Police said both women were reported missing following extensive media coverage surrounding the murders of vice girls Tania Nicol, 19, and Gemma Adams, 25.
Ms Nicholls has not been seen by her family since either last December 3 or December 4.
Ms Nicholls is described as white, about 5ft 3in, of slim build, with shoulder-length brown wavy hair.
Ms Clennell, of no fixed abode, has not been seen since 10.40pm on Saturday, December 9.
She was last seen leaving an address in London Road, Ipswich on a blue bike.
She is 5ft 7in, of medium build, with blue jeans and a zip-up top and has shoulder-length mousy hair, blue eyes and a spotty complexion.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either women should call Suffolk police on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
