THE co-owner of the historic Sproughton Mill has vowed to fight on despite being declared bankrupt.

Stephen Jones, who bought the mill seven years ago, has continued with his

website www.sproughtonwatermill.co.uk which launches a scathing attack on bureaucrats.

It follows a row over the standard of work carried out by Babergh District Council.

The 42-year-old, of Elm Estate, East Bergholt, has taken his battle to the Secretary of State and hopes for a decision in the new year, which will be published on the site.

He said: "I am going to continue with our fight. Don't think I am ever going to give up, because I am not. I'm that type of person.

"Babergh are going to get such a slap on the wrist. It's going to be a landmark case."

His website has more than 16,000 hits and Stephen says he had e-mails from all over the world about it.
