Ipswich Waterfront was transformed into an outdoor cinema, giving visitors the chance to watch two films for free in the weekend sunshine.
The huge screen was set up near the UCS James Hehir building and deckchairs and bean bags were provided by Ipswich Central to add to the holiday feel.
The event, showing the films Big Hero 6 and The Goonies, was run under the “All About Ipswich” banner as part of the build-up to the Ipswich Maritime Festival on August 15/16.
That festival will feature a variety of activities around the Waterfront – and will also bring special markets to the area around the Wet Dock.
There are further outdoor activities also being planned for Ipswich town centre and the Waterfront over the next few weeks.
