Firefighters tackled a number of small fires at the derelict indoor cricket centre in Ipswich this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews to the site in Henley Road shortly before 6am.
A brigade spokesman said the cause of the fire was not thought to be suspicious at this stage.
There were multiple small pockets of fire inside the building, the spokesman added.
The incident was under control by 8am.
Suffolk Constabulary was informed by the fire service at 6.11am but did not attend.
