STAFF at an Ipswich store turned up at work after smoke from a fire at the back of the store poured in and left the premises needing a thorough clean.
Iceland, in St Matthews Street, was left heavily smoke logged when a fire, which began in a wheelie bin in Black Horse Lane shortly after 1.30am on Sunday, spread.
One fire crew from Princes Street was initially called to tackle the blaze but a second was called for as it neared the rear shutter doors of the food store.
Firefighters found a small fire at the back of the store but were able to bring it under to control to prevent further damage.
