A FIRE at a Suffolk pub is thought to have been contained to the building's roof.
Fire crews from Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket were called to the blaze at the Red Lion in Icklingham at 11.15am today.
A spokesman for the fire service said many of the crews had left the scene by 2pm and work was under way to salvage the contents of the building.
It is not known how much damage the fire has done but the spokesman said he did not believe the fire had spread beyond the roof.
