FIRE crews from across the county have spent nearly two hours controlling a thatch fire in Stuston, on the north Suffolk border.The blaze broke out around 3pm today and involved crews from Eye, Stradbroke, Ipswich's Colchester Road headquarters, Harleston, and Stowmarket.
FIRE crews from across the county have spent nearly two hours controlling a thatch fire in Stuston, on the north Suffolk border.
The blaze broke out around 3pm today and involved crews from Eye, Stradbroke, Ipswich's Colchester Road headquarters, Harleston, and Stowmarket.
An operational support unit from Ipswich and a control unit from Felixstowe were also sent.
The fire was finally brought under control shortly before 5pm.
