FIRE crews were called to a house blaze in the early hours of this morning.

Three fire engines from Ipswich were called to the house in Downside Close at 3.06am to reports of a blaze with people inside the house.

On arrival at the scene, all people were accounted for. The fire started because a pan had been left on a hob. One person was treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics. The incident was over by 3.22am.
