AROUND 50 firefighters were called out to tackle a fire in a large thatched cottage at Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds.Fire crews were still at the two-storey property today after the whole of the roof and first floor was damaged in the blaze.

The fire began at the cottage in Broomhill Lane at 5.50pm yesterday.
