Fire crews free casualty after crash

A CASUALTY has been taken to hospital today following a two vehicle collision on a Suffolk road.Two cars collided on Thetford Road in Brandon about 6am leaving one person trapped in the wreckage.

A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries today following a two vehicle collision on a Suffolk road.

A Ford Focus and a Land Rover Freelander collided on Thetford Road in Brandon about 6am leaving the driver of the Focus trapped in the wreckage.

Three fire crews were called to the scene and cut the casualty free by 6.20am.

An electricity pole was also knocked down in the collision and the road has been closed.
