Four engines were sent to tackle a fire covering a huge area of undergrowth in Ipswich this evening.

Firefighters were called at 5.39pm today and spent an hour fighting the blaze on the 20 x 100m patch of land on Gainsborough Lane.

There were no reports of any injuries as a result of the incident.
