FIREFIGHTERS battled a barn blaze in Waldringfield in the early hours of this morning.
Initially two fire crews from Woodbridge fire station and headquarters in Colchester Road attended at the scene of the fire at Glebe Farm, Newbourne Road.
Upon arrival crews required further back-up and assistance and two further crews, one from Felixstowe fire station arrived on scene.
Flames were billowing from a barn, measuring 18 metres by nine metres, containing large quantities of hay.
There was also one land rover car involved in the fire.
Firefighters used two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames by 1.04am and fire crews remained at the farm overnight to ensure the blaze was out.
