FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a heath fire in Ipswich.
The blaze took hold in undergrowth on Foxhall Heath, off Foxhall Road, at around 4.52pm yesterday.
A fire service spokeswoman said 50 square metres of undergrowth was alight when crews arrived at the scene.Beaters were used to control the blaze and the fire was out by 5.28pm.
The cause is being treated as suspicious.
