A CLEANING up operation is underway today after fire destroyed part of a college in Suffolk.The fire started in a single story building approximately 100m x 20m at the West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds, Risbygate Street, at just after 10.30pm yesterday.
A CLEANING up operation is underway today after fire destroyed part of a college in Suffolk.
The fire started in a single story building approximately 100m x 20m at the West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds, Risbygate Street, at just after 10.30pm yesterday.
It is believed the fire started as a result of an electrical fault and damage was contained to the office area of the single story building which is used for teaching.
Three crews from Bury St Edmunds and Ixworth attended the blaze and it took firefighters more than an hour to bring the blaze under control.
