TRAFFIC on the A14 was disrupted today following a tyre fire on a slip road.
One carriageway of the Cambridge-bound A14 at Exning, near Newmarket, was shut when a trailer's tyre burst into flames on the slip road onto the road from the A142 at about 10.05am.
Firefighters brought the fire under control by 10.20am and traffic was able to flow freely again
