Early indications suggest that the cause of the fire at St Andrew's flats in Icewell Hill, Newmarket, is arson.

Firecrews were called at around 7.45pm yesterday. They found a small fire in the ground floor lobby, which caused the building to be smoke-logged.

Nine people were treated at the scene, while the remaining seven were taken to West Suffolk Hospital. All are expected to be released today.
