A car caught fire in Wherstead Road yesterday morning causing delays for drivers.
Crews arrived at around 8.54am to find the car well alight, near the Audi garage.
Two sets of breathing apparatus and two hosereel jets were used to extinguish the fire.
Suffolk Police also attended to control traffic while firefighters tackled the blaze, and drivers faced delays in both directions.
