Firefighters have been called to a blaze in Landseer Park in Ipswich this afternoon.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 3.30pm today, Saturday, July 28, to reports of a fire in the open.

According to a spokeswoman for the fire service, it took a single crew less than half an hour to extinguish the fire.

“This was a fire in the open, she said.

“We attended at around 3.32pm and a stop was called at 3.59pm.

“Just one pump, from Ipswich East, attended the incident.”
