POLICE are hunting firebugs thought to have torched a number of wheelie bins in two separate villages.
The first incident was reported in Brands Lane in Lawshall, near Bury St Edmunds, and happened overnight between Sunday and Monday.
Three separate wheelie bins were set on fire during the incident.
Police are connecting the arsons with a separate spate of wheelie bin fires reported in Hengrave, which is miles away on the other side of Bury.
In that incident, three wheelie bins were torched on a driveway in Mill Road.
