FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a gorse fire in Ipswich.
Several blazes took hold on land off Sandyhill Lane and two fire engines attended.
A fire service spokeswoman said around 50 square metres of undergrowth was alight when crews arrived at the scene at around 4.46pm yesterday. Beaters were used to control the blaze and the fire was out by 5.28pm.
