FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man trapped in his car after it veered off the A14.The accident happened at around 11.50pm yesterday when the car left the A14 eastbound carriageway between Risby and Bury St Edmunds.
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man trapped in his car after it veered off the A14.
The accident happened at around 11.50pm yesterday when the car left the A14 eastbound carriageway between Risby and Bury St Edmunds.
Three crews from Bury St Edmunds attended, including one pump rescue tender, and released the man from the car by using specialist hydraulic equipment.
He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Trust said the extent of his injuries are unknown.
