A FIRE broke out at a house in Felixstowe this evening.
Firefighters from the town's fire station were called to the blaze at about 6pm in Landguard Road, just off Langer Road.
When they arrived they found a semi detached property on fire, with the flames penetrating the ground and first floors.
Crews used two breathing sets and a hose reel to tackle the flames which were under control by 6.37pm.
Firefighters did stay at the address to dampen down the area to ensure no further spread of the blaze.
