FIVE people are in custody today after a fight broke out in Ipswich town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.Police were called to Fire and Ice, a nightclub and bar in Tacket Street, just before 4am.
FIVE people are in custody today after a fight broke out in Ipswich town centre in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to Fire and Ice, a nightclub and bar in Tacket Street, at about 3.55am following reports of a fight between two groups of men. A belt and a piece of wood were believed to have been used as weapons.
As police arrived a car containing a group of men went to the Cox Lane car park further along the road where the fight continued.
A police spokesman said all available police in the area were called to the scene and five men were arrested.
Four are currently being held in Ipswich police station waiting to be interviewed and a fifth is being held at Sudbury police station.
