FIVE people who were arrested after a protest outside Sizewell power station have been released on police bail.

Around ten protestors arrived at the site at around 7am yesterday and linked their arms together with tubes.

The group from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament were protesting at the environmental impact of nuclear reactors and uranium mining.

The access road to the site was blocked, affecting both Sizewell A and B which meant that workers had to park elsewhere and walk.

The five will answer bail at Lowestoft police station on August 21.
