FIVE cars which collided on the A14 at Rougham today have been cleared from the road.The accident happened at 8.35am in the Bury St Edmunds direction and despite all cars stopping on the outside carriageway they have now been cleared.

The accident happened at 8.35am in the Bury St Edmunds direction and despite all cars stopping on the outside carriageway they have now been cleared.

Officers managed to move all of the cars involved and while there were reports of tailbacks in the area it is thought traffic was moving again by 9am.

It is not thought any of the motorists suffered injuries in the accident and the East of England Ambulance Service was not called to the scene.
