FIVE Ipswich School students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge.
Richard Mann, who took his A levels last summer, had been awarded a place at St John's College, Cambridge to read Land Economy.
As a talented cricketer who has played for his country since he was at Under 15 level, Richard should be in strong contention for a place in the university's first XI.
Joining him at Cambridge, subject to their success in this summer's A2 exams, will be Helen Burslem, who has a place to read Music at Selwyn College and Elliott Fairweather, reading Classics at Corpus Christi.
Oxford offers go to Ipswich School's Head Girl, Laura White, to read Modern Languages at St Hilda's and to Robert Crowe to read Classics at Lady Margaret Hall.
