After a warm and fairly dry weekend, Bank Holiday Monday is set to get off to a dry start in Suffolk but turn wet and blowy by the afternoon.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 14C (57.2F) to 15C (59F), said Chris Bell, forecaster for Weatherquest.

“But it will be increasingly windy as well, so that will put a chill in the air,” Mr Bell added.

But don’t let the rain stop you enjoying the extra day off work.

Here we bring you five things to do with your Bank Holiday Monday.

Mendlesham Community Council Street Fayre takes place from midday to 4.45pm.
