Donna Mallett knows how lucky she is to be alive today after the extremely rare bug necrotizing fasciitis attacked her arm and left her with a 50 per cent chance of survival.
She was living from hour to hour and was in extreme pain but today after the skilled care of surgeons and nurses she is fighting fit and cannot wait to go back to work.
