WITH just days to go until the big night, it was today announced that the Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball is to raffle a superb prize donated by Eastern Airways.

The star prize in the fundraising evening's raffle, Eastern Airways is offering a pair of return tickets from Norwich to Aberdeen.

Darren Roberts, Eastern Airways' communications manager, said: “We have played an important role in the region over the last ten years providing the business community with high frequency flights from Norwich to Aberdeen.

“We're delighted to support the Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball as it's an excellent opportunity to help raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and increase awareness of such a worthwhile cause.”

Eastern Airways operates more than 800 flights a week from 16 airports including Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham Tees Valley, East Midlands, Humberside, Isle of Man, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Norwich, Oslo (Norway) Southampton, Stavanger (Norway), Stornoway and Wick.

Held at the sumptuous Elizabeth Hotel, Copdock, on Friday , the Ipswich and Suffolk Press Ball attracts the cream of the county's business community and raises thousands for charity.

Music, dancing, fine food and wines will be followed by an auction and tombola with prizes donated by a number of businesses and organisations with this year's chosen charity the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Headline acts will include rock legend and soul sensation Ray Lewis of The Drifters fame who will perform at the Soul Ball themed night of nights.
