A 70-year-old former BT worker from Felixstowe who downloaded child porn will be sentenced next month.
Trevor White, of Fairfield Avenue, had denied three offences of making indecent images of children but changed his pleas to guilty to all the charges before the start of his trial at Ipswich Crown Court today.
The offences were committed between 2008 and 2016.
The case was adjourned to a date to be fixed after July 31 for a pre-sentence report.
Adjourning the case Judge John Devaux told White he wasn’t binding himself to any particular length or form of sentence.
He ordered him to sign the sex offenders’ register and said the length of the order would be decided at the sentencing hearing.
Charles Myatt, prosecuting, said police officers acting on information seized computer equipment from White’s home in June last year and discovered 12 indecent images in the highest level A category, 30 level B images and 123 in the lowest C category.
