A former Suffolk fire engine has been spotted still serving the community – in Bolivia, it has emerged.
The former Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service appliance was seen by eagle-eyed photographer Jon Howard-Brand.
The old fire engine saw service in Suffolk in the 1990s and was formerly based in Felixstowe,
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman explained: “All our old appliances are sent to specialist contractors or to other services across the county who then move them on.
“This particular one was stationed in Felixstowe, and then was sent to the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service to export.”
