A FORMER Suffolk school teacher has been sentenced to a 60 hour community punishment order today after displaying sexy photographs of his ex-wife in public.
John Troupe, a retired design and technology teacher at Westbourne School, had admitted three offences relating to harassment and public disorder.
The court heard the 57-year-old also held a Polaroid image of his ex-wife, Maureen Troupe, outside his home in Notcutts, East Bergholt. He also displayed a poster and a banner on view making "inferences of a sexual nature" in relation to her.
Stephen Colman, prosecuting, said it arose at a difficult time in the aftermath of a divorce and Troupe vented his feelings in public.
Troupe, who was also made the subject of a restraining order, is due back in court on February 6 on a witness intimidation charge in relation to neighbour Doreen Anthony. No formal pleas were entered at this stage.
