FORTY people have been injured in an aeroplane accident in Australia.

The drama happened following a sudden change of altitude on the Qantas plane flying from Singapore to Perth with 313 people on board.
The plane landed at a nearby airport after making a mayday call and ten people with more severe injuries were taken to hospital.
