AROUND 20 firefighters were called to Back Road, Hintlesham today to tackle a blaze at a farmhouse.
The fire stared in an airing cupboard around 2.15am.
Two crews were initially despatched to the property, but as the fire took hold a further two crews were sent to help their colleagues.
A spokeswoman for the Suffolk Fire Service said the blaze was well alight on the ground floor of the 15m x5m detached house.
The fire crews spent more than an hour at the property with the stop message for the incident being called in to their control room at shortly before 3.40am.
