The crash happened between Stratford St Mary and Capel St Mary just before 1.55am.
Police and ambulance were called to the accident, which happened opposite Pound Lane, and when the first crews arrived they found one person still inside the car.
Earlier reports suggested another of the occupants had been seen in the road after the crash but it is not yet clear whether they were thrown from the vehicle in the impact.
Suffolk police said the three-door black Ford Fiesta was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
The road was not blocked by the crash but contractors were called to carry out repairs to the barrier.
All four in the car were taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance but their injuries were not considered to be serious.
Any witnesses to the accident should call Pc Kelly James at Ipswich police on 01473 613500.
