FOUR people have been hurt - one seriously - in a major road crash in Framlingham today.
THREE people have been injured - one seriously - following a three-vehicle smash in Framlingham today.
The accident took place on the B1116 Woodbridge Road at around 4.10pm.
One elderly female was airlifted to Ipswich Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Two other elderly men were taken by ambulance to hospital.
The fire service was called, with crews from Framlingham, Saxmundham and Princes Street in Ipswich freeing the injured trio from their vehicles.
The accident involved a Peugeot 306, a Ford Fiesta and a Peugeot 106.
The road remains closed while the cars are recovered and accident investigators scour the scene.
