Four in hospital after A140 smash

FOUR people have been taken to hospital following a head-on collision on the A140.

Police, fire crews, four ambulances and an air ambulance were called to the accident which happened at around 4.

FOUR people have been taken to hospital following a head-on collision on the A140.

Police, fire crews, four ambulances and an air ambulance were called to the accident which happened at around 4.40pm near the junction of the A1120 and the A140 at Stonham.

Three adults and one child were taken to Ipswich Hospital.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
